ABOUT ME
I am a South Carolina native and am originally from Sumter. I first fell in love with health and fitness as a competition cheerleader and dance team member at the College of Charleston. I continued to exercise after college but found it difficult to remain motivated and consistently fit working out into my daily routine. In 2006 I was married, and we welcomed our first child in 2013. I began exercising again as soon as I could, and turned to a personal trainer to help me shed the excess weight and get back in shape. Now the mother of 3 energetic boys, I have come to fully appreciate the important roles nutrition and exercise play in both our physical and mental health.
Continuing on my exercise and fitness journey, in 2017 I became a nationally certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I have earned additional certifications as a Weight-Loss Specialist and Corrective Exercise Specialist.
I am rooted in my faith and powered by the love of the Lord, my family and fitness. Like many women, I have struggled with pregnancy, hormones, baby weight, after 40’s weight, injuries, and all those things life throws at us. I understand that starting an exercise program of any type can be daunting, but I promise it is worth the effort. I hope you choose to join me on this journey, and if you do I will help you stay committed, consistent and motivated. I absolutely LOVE helping people reach their goals! Let’s get started!
